What is the cost?
Josiah Smith Tennent House requires a 2-night minimum stay for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday reservations. For events on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, 1-night reservations of the property are permitted., as well as event space only.-
4 nights: $27,500

What is included in the rental fee?
The price includes exclusive use of the entire mansion and outdoor areas, including all 6 bedrooms and 5 event spaces. Essentially, you may host as many events as you'd like for one flat fee, rather than renting numerous venue spaces and hotel rooms. See Price Comparison.

Does the venue provide catering, bar services, tables, or chairs?
No. However, we have a curated list of preferred vendors.

Where do events take place?
You may host events in any of the following areas: Courtyard, Speakeasy, Garden Room, Ballroom, and 2nd Floor Piazza.

Does the venue require an event planner?
Yes. A licensed event planner is required for each event with 50+ guests.

What is the rain plan?
You may host indoor events in the Ballroom, Speakeasy, and Garden Room without the need for a backup rain plan.

What is the parking situation?
Directly across the street from our courtyard is a paid surface parking lot with 60 parking spaces which may be used on weekends and after 4:00 p.m. on weeknights.

What time must events conclude?
10:30 p.m.

What is the required deposit and when is the full amount due?
50% of the total fee is due to secure your reservation. The remaining 50% is due 6 months prior to the reservation date.

Is the property handicap accessible?
Yes. The venue has a commercial elevator that services all 4 floors, as well as being fully ADA-compliant.

How many people can the venue accommodate?
Generally, the venue can accommodate 180 people. However, each event space may be used in various bespoke ways, which affects capacity. Your event planner can guide you to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable layout. See capacity chart.
