                               3rd floor Chef’s Kitchen + 3rd Floor Piazza.

 

Wine Pairing        Wines paired by private sommelier.

Poker Night          Poker & Cocktails in the Groom’s Speakeasy.

                                Open the mansion for guests filtering into town.

Tip:

Bring wedding gown & bridesmaid dresses to bridal

dressing room for steaming before wedding day.

Friday

Bridal Brunch, Rehearsal, & Welcome Party

 

Bridal Brunch        Garden Room or Ballroom.
 

Rehearsal               At ceremony location.

​

Welcome Party     Seafood Boil in the Courtyard to welcome

                                  guests to Charleston. 

                                 After 10pm, scope out a few Downtown spots.

​

Tip:

Store floral arrangements in floral room refrigerator for

reuse the following day.

Saturday

Ceremony, Dinner, & Reception

 

Getting Ready     Lunches brought in.

 

Bride                      Chef’s Kitchen & sitting area on 3rd floor doubles                                       as a large bridal hair & makeup area on wedding day.

                               Bridal dressing room also on 3rd floor.

​

Groom                   Speakeasy and Theater on 1st floor. Full bath for                                         those not staying onsite.

​

Florals                   Reuse arrangements from prior evening.

 

Ceremony             Courtyard or Ballroom. No backup rain plan needed.

 

Photos                    3rd floor Piazza, Ravenel Bridge at sunset.
 

Dinner                    Seated dinner or food stations in Ballroom,

                                 2nd floor Piazza, and/or Courtyard.

 

Reception             Courtyard (or Ballroom + Piazza if rain).

                                After 11pm, check out Downtown bars.

Farewell Brunch

 

Farewell Brunch    Chef's Kitchen & Piazza.

                                  Bloody Mary and Mimosa bars.

 

                                  Guests stop by before departing Charleston.

 

Sightsee                  Magnolia Plantation, Middleton Place,

                                  Battery. Architecture tour.

                                  Shem Creek to dolphin watch.

 

Shopping                 King Street. Lunch at Bar Taco.

 

Beach                       Sullivan’s Island.

 

Dinner Out               V Modern Italian, La Farfalle, or 167 Raw.

 

Monday

Depart as Newlyweds

 

Check out at 2pm  Enjoy morning coffee.  No rushing.
